Great pedals - combine with toe clips for the right balance.

I put them on my more casual touring bike (I have spikes/pedals without SPD clamps for my main touring bike) and connected them with leather covered MKS half clips. The pedals are light, easy to turn and I think they look great. Since they are weighted they really need toe clips to ensure they fall into the right position for the pedal fin to be useful. I personally find the MKS half clamps the perfect solution compared to the clip/belt solution. Since I ride cleats/clampless most of the time…

For those who ride the same bike touring, touring and commuting but want to wear either shoe, these pedals paired with Velo Orange half clamps are perfect for me. I tried MKS half clamps but they were too short. After switching to VO Half-Clips, they fit perfectly in my size 10 shoes, placing the ball of the foot about half an inch in front of the pedal axle. This could be the perfect choice if.

I am satisfied or rather satisfied with these pedals. First, they're pretty much designed for clip-on use only, and in my opinion they're the only pedals with such an efficient tongue for kicking your foot back into the pedal. Good, good they're well made and like the man who destroyed pedals by spilling. it depends on the degree of hardness. I think the fins on the back are the feature that defines them.
