Review on MKS URBAN PLATFORM Silver Platform by Ryan Whatley

For those who ride the same bike touring, touring and commuting but want to wear either shoe, these pedals paired with Velo Orange half clamps are perfect for me. I tried MKS half clamps but they were too short. After switching to VO Half-Clips, they fit perfectly in my size 10 shoes, placing the ball of the foot about half an inch in front of the pedal axle. I didn't really like them with full clips and straps because it was harder to turn around in them, but with half clips the pedal's "tongue" sits perfectly. On muddy, squishy, or otherwise wet roads, they still spin very smoothly with no play or sand. Overall, for the price, this is a phenomenal product for people who don't want to use shoes without the clips and pedal.
