That suits me. It has two sections so it extends to a reasonable height above the attachment point. The part that attaches to the table is fully rubberized to ensure a comfortable grip and prevent damage. The included ball head is respectable for its size and even has a lockable measuring pan. Not sure what you call it, but the kit comes with a metal extension that allows you to attach things meant for light stands.
