Review on Deluxe Schooler Equestrian Helmet by Ovation by Johnny Grant

This helmet was bought for my 3.5 year old son, his head is 50cm and when I adjusted it to the smallest size it fit perfectly. I was torn between buying a very small/small or small/medium helmet, but I'm glad I went with the smaller helmet. He's on his way to therapy for his sensory processing disorder and this helmet will protect him in the event of a fall. My friend has the same helmet for her daughter and she was hit this week. Yes the helmet was cracked and yes she had a concussion but she had NO brain damage and her head CT was normal. The doctors said that this helmet saved her life because if she hadn't worn it or had worn an inferior one, she could have suffered a serious head injury. Safety has no price when it comes to our children. Our two sons wear this helmet brand!
