Okay I got a fan today to replace the 36 in the fan I took in my SC 2nd Home. Need a fan in my store. So I bought this. Received today after Labor Day weekend. Began collecting (I'm mechanically inclined). I read instructions, yes I do. The instructions were in pictures, not bad. BUT they give you 2 x 3" threaded screws to attach the stands, there are wheels on the other end, no problem. But the stands are PLASTIC, they give you a SCREW to drill into the frame, guess what , one bolt broke the plastic and went all the way through the pipe and I saw that so I didn't screw the next one in all the way and fast.QUESTION: Why not just put a 2" bolt and nut in, um to put them on, you get a nut to screw the ferris wheels on.TERRIBLE design but it still worked, just be careful when screwing the screws and then into the tube not to go in too tight and too fast.Me too am a jack of all trades this worked, if and when the post breaks or comes loose I make my OWN 2x4 post and thread the bolt and nut through the same hole it should have been made in the first place Thanks a lot, seems to be working fine.
