When I am traveling, it is important to have more than one battery for my camera as well as charger other than my camera. Often my travels take me to destinations where I cannot charge everyday. The charger allows me to charge the batteries either by outlet or in the car. I can then charge 2 batteries at once by using my camera to charge the other battery. All has worked well. As I plan to use my camera around water, the floating device was an extra bonus.When I received my initial package, it was open and one of the batteries was not in it. I e-mailed Butterfly and they immediately sent a replacement at no charge. Thanks for the customer service.Sandy
