The most incredible towels. I've been waiting for mine for over two years -

I'm so happy to have several sets of these beautiful Turkish/Peshtamel towels. That means a lot to me. My husband and I have needed pool towels for years. The first set of towels we got for Christmas just after we got married lasted about 20 years. We were grateful to them, but we didn't choose them, and neither I nor he would have chosen them for themselves. These were not Turkish towels, they were rough to the touch and their color faded just a few years after we first received them. Eventually they started breaking. A little later they did it, a few years ago my husband and I bought two sets of towels. They still weren't what I was looking for, but I couldn't find a style that really excited me when shopping at the time. We have a few towels left over from one of these sets, a white cotton towel that will not wear out. I often use these towels when I treat myself to a manicure/pedicure. They're great for that. However, they feel rough to me and are very thick. Knowing how special textiles are and having heard that making towels can be a tedious job, I'm not the type to buy a new set of towels every few years because of this. So I refused to buy another set of towels until I found towels that really blew my mind. Towels, which I would be particularly happy about, do not fade or wear out. This task took several years. My spouse and I stopped using paper towels and napkins and switched to using microfiber napkins and pocket squares instead. That meant we had a lot more laundry to wash towels than we used to. We have an energy efficient washer and dryer, but the more we load them, the more time we spend doing laundry. So I looked for towels to make it easier. We wash our many microfiber towels and pocket squares with our bath towels to save time. Thick bath towels were not suitable for this task as they took up more space in the washing machine. Finally, in June 2016, I saw peshtamel style towels at Revain and thought they might work. I wasn't entirely sure at the time so I bought a 4 pack to test before buying more. To my delight, the Peshtamel towels are incredibly soft and the tassels are wonderful yet strong, just like the towels themselves. They hold up, don't fade or wear, and even dry perfectly in my dryer (I have an anti-wrinkle dryer, which I use for drying along with wool drying balls). Their slim profile makes them a much better fit. in my washer and dryer along with microfiber towels and then thick hand towels. Being so thin also means we don't have to wash our towels/microfiber more than once a week. In the past, due to the old, very thick towels, it was sometimes necessary to wash the towels/microfiber 3 times a week. So these towels are so fantastic for us! Their length and width are great. I'm slim and often chill after VERY hot showers and love to wrap myself in my Turkish towels and feel the gentle caress of their brushes while I oil myself to keep my skin in perfect condition. Because these towels are so long, when wetting my feet, I can place a piece of peshtamel towel on a chair and put my foot on it, dampening the sole of my foot to keep the moisturizer from getting on the floor. while still covering me up and keeping me warm and comfortable after a shower. I used to have to use two short towels for this. These towels dry so quickly. That's very impressive. My other towels were wet wrapping me and were uncomfortable. I find they dry almost instantly. I looked forward to getting the required number of towels. FINALLY, more than two years after receiving my first set, my wife and I purchased the required number of peshtamel towels for ourselves. Our other non-Peshtamel towels were so worn that some of them were even to shreds (we'll still use them as rags instead of throwing them away). We are so glad we finally got our Turkish towels. They are amazing! They look great in my closet where I keep my towels. When I first opened the package, they came from Turkey, where these towels are made, I carefully and thoughtfully sniffed each towel before washing them, and many of them smelled faintly of Turkish spices. When my husband came home from work and I told him the towels had arrived, he wanted to see them even though he was tired. He loves her too. When he used one of these the next morning, he said he also liked the light color of the towel. In fact, he was so inspired that when he got home the next day to spend time pampering himself with new towels, he decided to get his hair done and was obviously relieved that we don't use towels that weren't from Pestamel. I recommend these stylish towels for those who are serious about towels and for those who understand the quality and extra beautiful weave of peshtamel towels. I'm sure I'll use them as decorative scarves, even really long waist ties, and throw them over me to create special outfits instead of wearing a robe after a bath, etc. - Julie Sands.
