Update 28 August 2019: The second set of towels sent to me is broken. They lasted three months with very infrequent use. The tassels of the towels got tangled after washing, just like the first order I received. I also tried shortening the brushes. The towels on this second batch were only used occasionally so I was slow to upgrade. You are in the trash!
