I just ordered this lens after much thought about buying a fisheye lens under $1400 and I have NO regrets. And so, to put it bluntly, you can get answers to a million questions just by looking at the box, so I've included photos of each side of the box.1. Made in Korea2. Rokinon: Samyang Optics Technology.3. Hybrid aspheric.4. With Canon the viewing angle is 167Β°, with all other manufacturers 180Β°.5 are available. According to Rokinon, low light, ghosting, coma and chromatic aberration.6. Inner focus and ultra multi-layer coating.7. The hood is detachable and petal shaped.8. Rokinon is a brand of Elite Brands.9. COVERAGE: APSC/Four Thirds (meaning heavy vignetting at full frame. Not sure if this works for medium format). 10. FULL GUIDE Lens.Ok, now that I've just made a summary of the main ones, I'll start writing my opinions. I really love it and it made me smile whenever I used it. I've seen all the negative reviews about the lens not being sharp and not automatic, but I decided to give it a try knowing that shooting with a non-IS lens is absurdly difficult, and I can almost bet on it, since the factor is not sharp under some conditions. In low light, I found myself spreading my legs to lower my center of gravity, holding both hands on the camera and resting one elbow on my torso, trying to use my own body as a tripod, as well as holding my breath and pulling gently the trigger to shoot. I really liked the sense of participation, plus everything is done by hand; And also lean on a pole, tree, wall, car, statue or other object to make it more stable. I agree with some reviewers that it's difficult, but shooting with a fully manual lens is like trying to shoot like it was in its early days. I won't lie, not only did I try using my body as a tripod and leaning against walls, I also used the camera's live view a lot to focus with the digital zoom, but that doesn't bother me, it is just like that means I have to take more photos to avoid mistakes As with anything, it takes practice to master an instrument and that is it, an instrument, a vintage instrument, that allows me to hone the most basic skills that we take for granted. I suppose if someone is used to everything automatic in the first place it will be intimidating and daunting, but if you have the patience and want to save 90% of a fully automatic IS fisheye zoom lens, this lens is for you.
