Pros: I bought these for my bedroom. I like that they can be permanently installed. Well made which is a big plus. The light from them is bright enough to illuminate a room without the use of a ceiling light. I also hooked them up to a dimmer + on/off switch so they can be controlled from the comfort of my bed. Cons: The sockets were crooked so a lightbulb was sticking out of the cover and looked awful. I was able to move it down so it doesn't show up. And one of the bulbs came already blown. The bulbs included are not dimmable so I had to replace them all with dimmable bulbs. Cables, on the contrary, do not go down the lamp, as in the photo. Both fall down the left side of the lamp, giving the cords a jagged appearance when hung evenly. The cords are so short that you will need an extension cord to reach any standard outlet. I have now ordered longer lamp cords to replace the stock cords I am waiting for here to complete the installation. Luckily, the dimmer switches I bought also have an on/off switch, so I can completely do without the switch on the cord, which can't be covered with a cord trap anyway. All of this adds significantly to my work light costs. Overall I like these headlights but they could have been amazing if the manufacturer had at least added longer cords and used dimmable work lights.
