Not synonymous with 150W.

They look well built and solid. The problem I have is that they are only good emitters above and below the light source. If they were actually equivalent to a 150w incandescent lamp, there would still be enough light. I've had 150w bulbs and it's closer to 60w in terms of wattage. I ended up turning it aside and using it in closets.

Exceeded my expectations

I thought this would be an all day installation project because my husband usually starts a project and then stops to do other things. But these lights were ready for his installation. They are super bright! This is great because they are on the side of our beds. It was the perfect purchase. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great indoor lighting.

Looks great. I'm a renter so we only installed them on the walls but they come with the necessary hardware to mount them. I installed one on either side of the TV. They give excellent lighting, but don't overdo it. You look great. The only criticism I have is that the bulbs barely stick out so I bent them a bit. Also, I asked my friend to install them so that they are even and even on my wall. I would buy them again!

Excellent quality and useful for low cost supplemental lighting.

Great hallway, night corridor, accent lighting. solid metal For my use, the top bulb was sufficient, and I rotated the empty bottom light out of view. I completely removed the cable to install the wallbox with the switch. Cons: I had to drill my own vertical holes in the mounting plate to be able to mount the light horizontally to my outlet. And then 2 screw slots in the lamp itself did not allow to press the lamp tightly against the wall, leaving no noticeable gap. So I used a dremel to chisel

Good but could be amazing

Pros: I bought these for my bedroom. I like that they can be permanently installed. Well made which is a big plus. The light from them is bright enough to illuminate a room without the use of a ceiling light. I also hooked them up to a dimmer + on/off switch so they can be controlled from the comfort of my bed. Cons: The sockets were crooked so a lightbulb was sticking out of the cover and looked awful. I was able to move it down so it doesn't show up. And one of the bulbs came already blown…

Ideal for a bedroom without overhead lighting

If you have a bedroom with a switch that controls only one plug of a standard two plug socket, this lamp works great (each lamp has two bulbs and there are two separate ones lamps). You can then use the built-in light switch to turn them on/off instead of the built-in cord switch. You will likely need both bulbs to provide decent light.
