Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Lytool 1/2 Inch Torque Wrench Set - 10-150 Ft-Lb/13.6-203.5 Nm - Ideal for Motorcycles and Automobiles - Includes 3 Sockets & 5" Extension Bar by Michael Mayes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It works well and appears to be accurate, about the quality you would expect for the price.

This torque wrench works well and seems to be as accurate as my other torque wrenches. While I have no way of checking the gauge, it should be fairly close to the lug nuts, which is usually why people buy those cheap wrenches. I wouldn't build an engine with it, but it's perfectly fine for spinning tires. It actually looks exactly like the PITTSBURGH 1/2 In Drive Torque Wrench used in port freight and could very well be made in the same factory. This one only comes with a couple of metric sockets and an extension cord, which the port one doesn't have. I am deducting 2 stars for the bad and the reason. I didn't receive the instructions in the box and from reading other reviews these are probably a typical Google Translate copy and paste job and they're not worth the paper they're printed on. To help those of you who have trouble reading torque wrenches in this style, I assure you that this is just a standard reading and is similar to most other torque wrenches. If you're having trouble seeing the markings, just put some black or red varnish on the engraving and it will help. I usually just run my dirty finger over it to fill the engravings with old grease and dirt. lolbut To help people I've uploaded pictures to better explain how to customize and read. The higher the Ft lb rating, the tighter it feels. It's a handle that compresses a calibrated torque spring. Once you have it in the right position, lock the handle with the knurled knob and use the wrench. IT IS IMPORTANT. if you want the wrench to stay calibrated for as long as possible. When you're done using the wrench, unlock the handle and loosen the handle until it goes past the minimum mark. You should not store the wrench with the torque spring compressed as this will weaken the spring and break the calibration over time. Even more expensive branded keys can be damaged if stored improperly.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
