The massager worked quite well overall although it smelled awful. Also, it could only be used for a few minutes, after which it got uncontrollably hot and the stainless steel literally burned the skin. After we had the unit for five weeks, it started smoking and the engine lost power. I called Jeanie Rub. and I was informed that my device was part of a batch that was manufactured with "incompatible parts" (see attached screenshot of an email sent to me) which resulted in the device having a strong smell and overheating. I was also sent a FedEx ground shipping label so I could send the unit back for repair which would probably take a few weeks. I wonder about Core Products' quality control given the order they produce the device from first use. I will update this review after my refurbished product is returned.
