I bought this for my new KIA EV6 as the folding one I picked up at local store was way too big. The benefit of this design is:1.) It can fit just about any vehicle (if it is too big) because the two pieces just overlap2.) It folds up quickly into a small bagWith the normal folding type, it ends up in the back of the car and getting stepped on by the kids and therefore has dirt/mud and who knows what else on it. With this design it is tucked away in the small bag and therefore is always clean. I've only had this for a short time, so I will update if there are longevity issues as you do twist the product to put it in the bag and the material therefore must be thin.As far as keeping temps down, outside of the car was 95F today and inside the car was warm but bearable when I got out of work. Compared to before using this, it was an OVEN in the car and even my phone cried about over-temp and would not operate.
