Leaks and poor design

I've read a lot of good reviews about this dehumidifier, so the fact that I had a bad experience was a bit unexpected. We have four dehumidifiers at home. It was one of three in our basement, it's a big basement. The device never worked properly when it was automatically turned off. It kept filling up. The float (floating foam that shuts off the device when the bucket is full) had no impediment and moved with no problem. When the device shut off automatically, it filled the water tank up enough to avoid spilling it when removed. Inside the unit, under the bucket, it was constantly damp. The tank is actually very small, but it takes a long time to fill up, which is odd given that others fill up twice as fast and technically don't remove the same amount of water per hour on paper. The bucket, even when fitted correctly, always has trouble fitting completely inside the unit, but I've always checked to make sure it isn't flush on the outside. It was very difficult to take the bucket off or pull it out as there is no notch to grab it. You just have to pull it on each side until it pops out. Very badly designed. Very (very) loud. Leaks and doesn't have the same features as almost all of my humidifiers, which actually cost less but more. The leak was dangerous. Will be back tomorrow after using it for a couple of weeks to make sure it was the device and not me.
