Works perfectly. Best in dehumidifier

Everything about the dehumidifier is very good, so far we have had it less than a week. I am very happy. The noise level is quieter than my predecessor. If I could give 6 stars for the volume I would. A minor minus, although the controls are easy to use and intuitive, the manual was clunky and a bit difficult to understand, not written by someone with English as a native speaker. Spend a few dollars and hire a consulting engineer to edit the manual.

Works on budget and extracts moisture from the air. Generates a lot of heat better than device no.

. You are completely low. You hear a high pitched buzz, not loud, I have it in the garage under the living area to keep the mold damp, it definitely pulls moisture out of the hose and fills buckets quickly in 3 hours at the price of 50 pints, it definitely works. Be better in winter Threaded tubing is hard to come by, I had to use the vinyl that came with the kit

Heats up, non-intuitive controls

Also, it arrived on time, I plugged it in and it worked. Now for the cons: It wasn't boxed but time will tell if there is any damage. The unit gets very hot - I haven't had to heat my house since I turned on this unit, so the Energystar rating is dubious. It runs continuously in "Auto" mode and turns off in "Continuous" mode. When the unit is running, the humidity reading is approximately 10% higher than the reading on a separate humidity monitor; However, if I turn off the device and wait 30…

Leaks and poor design

I've read a lot of good reviews about this dehumidifier, so the fact that I had a bad experience was a bit unexpected. We have four dehumidifiers at home. It was one of three in our basement, it's a big basement. The device never worked properly when it was automatically turned off. It kept filling up. The float (floating foam that shuts off the device when the bucket is full) had no impediment and moved with no problem. When the device shut off automatically, it filled the water tank up enough

Great for our needs

We bought this dehumidifier and it has turned out to be great! We have a lot of sliding glass doors in our house and they let in a lot of moisture from the outside so we bought this to help and it's amazing. Set it to Auto and let it work its magic! Now there's a distinct difference between being outside and inside, and I no longer have the constant need to wash my face when I'm at home. £30 is a bit bulky to lug up and down the stairs (we only ordered one to see how we like it) but it's doable
