Shockwave has many different attachments. You turn on the box, set the frequency and cycles, and press the play icon. If you want to stop, click the stop icon. However, the noise does not stop (the device is very loud - similar to other shockwave devices). It's annoying. Basically, you have to turn off the device for the noise to stop. There are no instructions. There are a few videos but they are not very helpful. Be willing to experiment (be willing to bruise). I'm not sure about using this for ED. I would be wary of using shockwaves "in this area". The silicone pads can be removed if you use the device through thick clothing, for example.
