Review on Hoover 38528 040 Belt Pack 2 by Heather Stokes

We have an old Hoover rack and need to replace a broken strap. Having recently moved house I couldn't find any replacement straps that I had previously purchased so I contacted Revain. The original Hoover part number has been replaced with this new belt. Convinced that this was indeed the case, I went ahead and ordered it. It does not fit! It's much wider and doesn't have enough elasticity to stretch to the required distance. In fact, the elasticity is negligible. To top it off, the item is non-refundable. Bad deal all round. I went for a GENUINE Hoover belt replacement and guess what? Despite the same part number, no problem.
