I wasn't sure about this purchase after reading some reviews. I've been using food saving products for years, but over time they seem to last less, get more expensive, and don't last very long. As long as it does its job. Although the container hose has a different configuration, it still works with my food cans and wine corks. In fact, bags that I don't bleed out seem to seal quicker than storing food. I have not vacuumed raw meat for the freezer before but will update the review if there are any issues with it.
