Review on Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone 20 Ultra (SM-N985F) 8/256 GB RU, black by Qui Qui ᠌

Disgusting, dissatisfied with the purchase.

After 8 months of looking for life hacks to use this "flagship flagship" - a parody of a reliable and modern flagship, I regret that I bought myself this. I am a devoted fan of Samsung, I have been using only their phones since 2022, I transferred my whole family and relatives to Samsung, but I did not expect such a setup for almost 100 thousand. This is not a flagship, this is a beta version of the phone, which is being finished all the time (judging by the volume of incoming ates), but I don’t want to participate in this public testing anymore. In general, now I am looking for a buyer on ebay at half price, and then I am studying what to buy in return.

Pros
  • 1. One of the best AMOLED screens on the market. Contrast, color reproduction, behavior in the sun, power consumption - nothing to complain about. A high refresh rate is supported, though not at the maximum resolution. 2. Optimal phone dimensions for this screen size. 3. A large amount of fast built-in memory (256 GB), support for memory cards, if the built-in suddenly is not enough. 4. The stylus and software for it is the "killer feature" of this device. 5. The sound of the built-in speakers is clear, loud, the stereo base is really felt. 6. Dust / moisture protection - support IP68. 7. Fast charging. From the charger that comes with the kit, the phone charges up to 100% in an hour.
Cons
  • 1. Communication quality. This is the flagship flagship, for up to a lot of money. Why is it impossible for me to get through in places with not ideal cellular coverage (one call out of three passes), and the mobile Internet tries to play the role of that fighter whose loss the detachment did not notice? And this is all against the background of other phones located in the same place, with the same tariff of the same operator, on which such behavior is not even close. 2. The battery life of this device is a mockery of users. 1.5 hours of skype + hour of telegram communication + hour of phone calls and. welcome to exercise. Is this really a flagship? 3. The fingerprint scanner on this phone does not work. So does face recognition. More precisely, all this works in ideal conditions (you sit on the couch in the rays of spotlights and / or put your perfectly clean, washed and moistened finger on the fingerprint sensor), and in less than ideal conditions (on the run, on the go) - never works. This is my first time since 2022 to unlock the screen with a code. 4. Phone heating. Today I participated in a Skype conference. Chatted for an hour and a half. The phone has become so hot that it is unpleasant to hold it in your hands. The phone is smart, he decided that it was more important for him to cool down and . made it a priority of his work. Master, don't pester me. It was I who reduced the priority of performing your tasks and the speed of WI-FI to a minimum, but I need to cool down, I'm slowing down, I'm hot . 5. Camera. Jerky 4K video, soapy edges of the photo, somewhat useless telephoto mode (soap, noises, noises, soap again), "sharp" details where not needed, loss of details where not needed (try to shoot a sunset against a sky with small clouds - you you won’t see them), the lack of a normal macro. Well, there’s also a camera cap that tinkles and makes it impossible to use the phone without a case, or rather a lining. 6. The phone loses to the full in toys to any phone on the Snapdragon. And heating the phone to the state of the stove exacerbates this situation.
