Here is my review of this little device, I got it because it has a gigabit ethernet port. In fact, the port is gigabit, I was able to max out a 200Mbps bi-directional FiOS connection and when I use it with my ThinkPad T480 and the 65W adapter it doesn't get very hot. All USB3 ports are actually USB3 ports! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a mobile hub/dock without huge volume, who doesn't need 4k60 output, or who still visits places that only have VGA conference rooms (2019!). It might not be Thunderbolt 3, but for the price it's hard to beat if you need all of those features at the same time. However, as a power user, I would like to see a few things: 1. DisplayPort (in ALT mode) instead of an HDMI connector, or at least 4k60 HDMI.2. Thunderbolt 3 passthrough, but there are other devices that do this, but they can be MUCH more expensive.3. SD and MicroSD card slots allow cards to protrude from the device. It's a feature, but I'd like to use it to host Mac images when I test it. Aside from using it on the go with my T480, this is another thing I use USB-C hubs for as a techie.
