This fleece blanket is exactly what I was hoping for. It's so soft (it's amazing what they've accomplished in the synthetic blanket world since growing up as a kid with those really scratchy non-breathable velvet edges which was the only benefit!) and breathable. My cat and dog love it too and luckily it's big enough for all of us. A lovely golden yellow color and unlike some other reviews I've read about the duvet, it doesn't pill. Not straight out of the box (except maybe 1-2 tiny clumps probably left over from production) and not washed. Yesterday I washed it for the first time, everything is fine. Just use a gentle cycle and tumble dry if possible. So yes, all 5 stars!
