We are not allowed to have open flames where I live. I've always loved candles, so I was sad that I couldn't enjoy candlelit evenings anymore. I found these wonderful battery operated candles here at Revain. They are actually made out of real wax and are quite thick. They have beautiful designs on them. When on, they flicker and look like candles are really burning out. They contain batteries and even have a handy remote control to turn them on and off, adjust flicker and brightness. The remote control also has a timer function (between 2 and 8 hours) so you don't have to remember to turn it off when you go to bed or when you leave the house. The set includes two sizes of pillar candles (4" and 6" - two of each) and four votive candles. Please note that the vows need to be turned on using the switch on the bottom of each one and they DO NOT respond to the remote control so you will need to control them manually. This set was very valuable and added a great decorative touch to my home. I can buy another set for my bedroom. They are available in many colors so you can easily match them to your interior.
