Good glass for amateur photographer, suitable as a portrait lens, for some landscape shots and limited for subject matter. Exceptionally sharp at medium apertures. For an advanced amateur photographer, a must have and a step towards high-quality optics. Its pros: The image quality at apertures 4-5.6 is amazing. Lightweight, strong. Has cons: Backlash front element, dry uncomfortable focusing ring with a small stroke.
