Review on 🚩 Scosche PSM21006 BaseClamp Whip and Flag Base Vehicle Mount by Dean Wildfang

Attention buyers. That's only half of what you need. You still have to purchase the pipe clamp separately for $13 each. Read the fine print so you don't fall into the same trap I did. I'll update later if there are other issues besides their hidden addition that bring the overall cost to the same amount as others I've considered (and honestly would have bought instead if I'd discovered it). Update after installation. : Terrible system. The pipe rings mark the cage paint if they touch at all. I can't pull them tight enough that they don't move. The body of the mount keeps you from tightening the clamp so tight that it doesn't move. If you try to put a piece of rubber under them to stop them from moving, you're in for an epic fight to get the bolt all the way in. I also had to work on a slot where the clips are inserted into the mount as the workmanship was poor and a ridge was left visible due to their shape. Otherwise the pipe clamp would not be used. Installed two lighted whips on the back of my UTV from a new dash shifter and spent as much or more time on these clips than the rest of the project combined. I recommend staying away from them.
