I added a rotating bathroom shower head to an existing faucet. I did it myself at first, and when I had a leak under my closet I figured that either the tightness of the rotator and connecting pipe must be creating more back pressure than the system can handle. I called the local plumber. He did a thorough inspection, looking at every shim thickness, every position, every tightening of the hose and fitting, and it was still leaking. We decided to go back to the original aerator and it went back to normal. I'm not so much what? $12.50 max plus plumbing? So not a big deal and probably worth trying. Still not recommended.
