Pilot hole must be pre-drilled, use a PH3 bit and adjustable bit for installation

Container plates for installed parts on drywall. A PH3 or Phillips #3 bit is required for installation. There are no instructions. I accidentally drove two anchors into the drywall, so an adjustable slipper clutch is a must. We set the drill/screw selector to the screw and torque (#1) over RPM. The self-drilling function tends to walk or move. Because alignment is important with this setup, a 1/8" to 3/16" hole had to be carefully marked, centered and pre-drilled to serve as the pilot hole for the anchor. 1-1/2 inches long. There are sheet metal studs in the center every 16" and a 1/8" drill bit drilled a pilot hole for the screw without the use of an anchor. Once you figure out that a PH3 bit is needed, setup is pretty quick.

Pros
  • Drywall anchor
Cons
  • Available in white only
