My husband is very hard on his boots and was due for a new pair. His old boots (another brand) that cost $150 were separating at the soles. I decided to try these since they are waterproof and 3M Thinsulated for the cold weather ahead. He has been very pleased with these, saying they offer excellent support on rough terrain and are quite comfortable. They do run a little big for the size but he ended up liking that since they are tall and lace up tight.They don't slip on his feet and ankles at all but allow good toe room. He said so far they have proven to be 100% waterproof even when in water up into the laces. They also clean up well with the water hose and the lugs on the bottoms don't seem to hold mud as bad as some of his past boots. That's good since he comes in the house without taking them off. His only gripe was that the laces were way longer than needed but he just tucks them in the top of the boot. I'm sure he will eventually just cut them shorter.
