Once a week we use a powerful vacuum to give the floors and carpets a thorough cleaning, but as we have two cats we have to touch up here and there every day. Jashen D18 is perfect for this. All of the carpeting in our house is low-pile, and the D18 handles everything from scattered cat litter to fur. The kit contains almost everything we need. The battery lasts quite a long time - typically 3-4 days without charging if we use it for 10 minutes at a time. As I said, we don't vacuum the whole house at once with the D18. Some people have mentioned that the suction power isn't amazing. We find that this is not the case. The machine is more than capable of cleaning our short pile carpets, hardwood floors and tile. Comes with two rollers - one soft and smooth and the other with bristles. We have used a brush roller for all of our flooring so far and it works great. But if you want to switch them, it's a quick and easy process. We particularly like how easy it is to clean our carpet stairs using all the extension tubes or shorten the unit by removing the tubes and using just the head. This makes the vacuum cleaner lighter and more comfortable to use. The crevice tool comes in handy when the carpet hits the wall. and it is ideal for cleaning the inside of our cars and our boats. So if you're looking for a lightweight second vacuum to complement your powerful vacuum, the D18 should do the job just fine. and at a good price.
