Review on BougeRV 180 Watts Mono Solar Panel, 12 Volts Monocrystalline Solar Cell Charger High Efficiency Module For RV Marine Boat Off Grid by Charlie Powell

After I received my eight 180-watt panels, I unpacked them all and inspected them for shipping damages, since the boxes looked like they had been through a lot. There were a number of dents and bends on the frames, so I took photos to make BougeRV aware of the damage. The glass and cells all seemed undamaged, so I wasn't too worried about getting any replacement panels. BougeRV customer support was great, assured me that none of the damage would affect their performance or lifetime, but sent me some gifts as a goodwill gesture, anyway. They also answered some mounting questions I had and then kept in touch to make sure I didn't have any other issues.Since yesterday was a beautiful sunny day without a cloud in the sky, I used the opportunity to test the panels. I found a spot on the RV roof that would be out of range of any shadows for a few hours and then put every panel in the same spot, one by one, hooking it up and watching the output for a few minutes to see what it maxed out at. Every panel output about 155 -160 Watts, which seems about right since I didn't tilt the panels and had them connected to fairly long wires. I think if I tilted them and used shorter wires, I probably would have seen 165 - 170 Watts, which is fantastic! Since I live north of the Tropic of Cancer, I wouldn't expect them to actually produce 180, but it seems like they could actually get pretty close in the middle of the summer!
