I calculated the price per square foot for a variety of bulk (6+ rolls) paper towels offered on several websites. These came with the lowest price. I have a big cleaning job and I wasn't expecting anything from these paper towels. now i love her Are these bounty or viva low budget towels? no But they wash well, hold up better when wet than some branded towels, and don't leave lint like Viva's. They are single layer. So to get rid of the liquid you have to use to wipe, you can't just use it like a sponge and throw it in to soak up the moisture. However, one of the surprises was that when I wiped my wet hands with it, my hands became dry and didn't leave sand on them like some other brands. They come individually wrapped, but as with all brands, sometimes the packaging isn't fully sealed and thus not error-proof. I transfer rolls to shipping containers and storage bags upon delivery. They don't always tear completely along the perforation and a small piece may remain on the next sheet. But they tear much better than Georgia Pacific, which had about half a roll with no noticeable perforations. They come off the roll just right, you only unwind them when you only need one more sheet or stick to the roll like the Viva, so you practically have to take the roll off. The leaves are full sized but can be easily ripped to any size desired if pinched between fingers at the correct breaking point. Another surprise as they hold together so well when in use. I accidentally washed a separate sheet and it came through just fine, but if you have someone who washes paper towels you might want ones that disintegrate quickly when wet. It's not like this. They wipe and clean well, wet or dry. The leaves are textured with one side rougher than the other. They are much softer and more flexible than toilet paper towels. I haven't done a detailed comparison on how much I use, but they last longer than the Genuine Joe which always needs two reeds even though it's double ply. I will be using these Scott towels for small cat poo and general use. During spills, major riots, and when I have company, I rip out high-quality paper towels for multiples of the price per square foot.
