I'm 6'2" tall with high arches and slightly wide feet. Stylish look. The construction of the sole is generally comfortable, although some of the fabric in the forefoot and toe area that is bonded to the sole of the shoe is slightly wrinkled. The shoes fit me a bit longer (I bought a pair in a size 13) and were wide enough for my feet. I found the lack of forefoot cushioning and the overall arch support shape to be a little uncomfortable for high-arched feet like mine on long days (casual all-day wear) or more active days of more than two hours of casual walking. The orthotic insoles (SuperFeet) seemed to add some to the comfort associated with arch support. These shoes go well with her casual wardrobe style in my opinion, but are not suitable for sustained activities such as walking or jogging.
