Review on 🚗 5 Inch (125mm) Compressed Woolen Wheel Buffing Pads with Hook and Loop – Ideal for Car & Boat Polishing, Waxing, Sealing, Pack of 3 by Matt Louis

I made all the jewelry box hardware from 304 stainless steel and used buffing pads along with diamond paste for a high gloss finish. The velcro pad worked well as long as the pads lay on perfectly flat surfaces and the pads didn't have to be "bent". When used on curved surfaces that only touched a small portion of the pad, they would come loose and break off. The quality of the felt was excellent and did a great job. Probably the only way to use these pads on tight, uneven surfaces and keep them on the backing is to screw a screw into the center of the flexible rubber backing and forget about the velcro straps. Overall the pads are beneficial and work very well, but the velcro pad really doesn't work well on anything other than perfectly flat surfaces. I would give the felt 5 stars, but the velcro backing is not suitable for use on uneven surfaces.
