Review on πŸ”Œ Portable Grounding Solution for Gasless Automatic Welding by Johnnie Bowlan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great economical welder

This MIG welder runs on 110V and uses flux cored wire so no gas is needed. The only thing you need to run this welder is electricity. It works just like any other moment. The wire is pulled evenly, so it's a breeze and only takes a few minutes. It comes with some wire. Wire feed adjustable. There is no heat setting. You won't be able to use it to weld heavier gauge steel, but it's great for smaller 1/16" and 1/8" steel. 1/4 inch thick steel can be welded if there is nothing serious in it. This is not an industrial welder. I wouldn't even recommend it for agricultural use, but it would be great for a homeowner or someone with a small business. It's definitely an affordable way to go. It comes with a welding cap, which is something with a handle that you can hold to do a bit of welding. It reminds me of something I used as a kid in a high school sweat class. I definitely recommend getting a real welding mask. In general, I really liked this welder and I really like it. From what I've seen I would definitely recommend it to those who don't want to spend a ton of money and/or need to weld every day.

Pros
  • MIG Welder
Cons
  • Not as thick as other welders
