I liked that they were comfortable and soft enough. Not too little, not too much. I like that they allow you to quickly cross water traverses while hiking and hiking without changing into water shoes, sandals or thongs because they are great for water. If you're worried about sticks and stacks, I haven't had that problem, and when it got better I just put on wool socks. They are lightweight compared to regular hiking/climbing shoes. I weighed them once, but I forgot, but I remember they didn't weigh at all. I hope you find them as useful as I do.
