Having bought Merrell shoes for over 10 years I have nothing but good things to say, it was a total disappointment. The quality control is terrible and the product itself has massive designer bases. Stitches are gross abrasives and run down the inside of the healing, acting like a cheese grater. The lacing system on the laces is very long which makes it uncomfortable and has to be twisted. Really great article. The fit was widely considered to be a standard Merrill fit. Maybe 0.5 size bigger but remember that with wet feet you might need extra space.

Have only tried them on so far but 10 were too long (I usually have 10 at Merrell - at least the last 4 pairs are from them). Had to downsize to 9.5 but note 9.5 is slightly narrower in width and also shorter so not everyone can do it. I will update the review after further wear.

nice shoes for my son but not comfortable or useful (very expensive in quality). They kept sand and small rocks in a removable insole and also burned his soul when he wore them without socks! Water shoes should be worn without socks. Merrell has yet to fix this issue. They said they would contact me if I sent them the requested photos, I sent them over a week ago and still no reply.

Being Vandershue is great. Good traction. gout suspension. Only the sole could be more breathable. Feet get pretty warm.

I liked that they were comfortable and soft enough. Not too little, not too much. This shoe is amazing! We go kayaking and we walk. We often go down rivers or streams and then back into the boat etc. I've never had shoes that are so stable on slippery rocks and mud! It feels great and has excellent protection. My husband loved it so much he ordered a pair right away.

Not very comfortable, a bit stiff and hot. I wanted them for use in Greece on vacation. But I found them too sweaty to wear too often and they hurt my heels.

Great sneaker for a wet summer. Holds very little water after soaking and dries very quickly so it doesn't chafe/rub like walking with wet feet/sneakers.

Fit, are stable, you don't sweat, very good profile. There is a minus for the bubbles. I didn't expect that with plastic shoes. (And that with extra hiking socks.) Update after the second big hike: Still rubbing heavily in certain places. Seems too narrow despite the large size. The shade!

I have a long, narrow foot and wear hard orthotics for planar fasciitis. In particular, I have problems with heel slippage. These sandals fit my foot and heel very well. On the advice of others who post on this board, I bought 1/2 size smaller than usual. I've only had them for 3 weeks but so far so good.
