I bought two different brands of puck lights. I found the colors on Brilliants to be lighter than others I've reviewed. I also liked the ability to choose a custom color and longer battery life than other Puck lights. The lights worked as promised, were easy to install and created the ambient lighting effect I wanted. Some points to consider before purchasing: 1. The custom color change is not a one-touch button like some other brands on a big remote. However, it is still relatively easy to change and the light quality is better overall.2. There's a nice fade option that switches colors automatically, but some of the automatic color-changing options like strobe and flash aren't available for it. These lighting features are mostly not used regularly unless hosting college basement parties. They use AA batteries instead of AAA and are therefore a bit wider. However, they are still smaller and brighter than many others using AAA. All in all, a great option if you want to add ambient lighting anywhere in your home without running wires.
