Bought for my wife. The hair dryer smells a little of something from the inside, but it will probably burn out and the smell will go away, and it is barely noticeable. It doesn't smell like anything outside. The cord, as someone said in the review, does not spin in the handle, the plug is European, an adapter is not needed. It works no louder than the old Brown, rather quieter, although almost twice as powerful. The control is intuitive, and does not interfere with holding the hair dryer in your hand. The cord is not oak, as if rubberized, soft, flexible. The mesh at the back is quite small, and the hair is unlikely to get there. I think it's worth the money, it looks beautiful, modern, more suitable for young girls, and the size is quite small.
