Review on Skunk2 307 05 0260 Pro Series Intake Manifold by David Golden

Installation was pretty easy. I used to reroute my coolant lines from the throttle body etc so I did minimal rerouting here. Combined with the Alpha Series 70mm throttle body, this was a massive improvement over stock. A few minor modifications were needed, nothing major: the PCV wasn't necessarily relocated, but it's kind of hanging in limbo now, the throttle cable bracket had to be changed, and the IAT sensor had to be relocated. The IAT connector on the manifold was a bit too small for the sensor, so I inserted the connector with a short screw and relocated the sensor to the intake manifold just before the throttle body. All other components; Fuel rail, injectors, etc. were replaced directly. (Saloon 95 EG). The manifold port is also slightly smaller than the throttle body and benefits from quick port adjustment; Cut off 2mm and done. Immediately noticeable difference in the mid and top range, as well as better throttle response. I'll be tweaking all of this with Neptun soon. Combined with a full exhaust and cold air intake, I'm guessing about 20 horses were added.
