We needed a second charger for Surface Pro 7. No problem with Microsoft except I just wanted a second one for my travel bag. We've replaced Microsoft with a new everyday charger. We regularly check the temperature of these new chargers and they're always slightly warm, not hot. We're baffled by all the "Hot Charge" performance ratings and suspect they're coming from users with low batteries. A good holdall to use occasionally to keep everything together. The straight socket and corded option are very nice additions. The USB port works fine and using it eliminates the extra USB power bank we kept on the desk.
