We just love this seat. My son was 3.5 years old when he was bought and he is still driving at 4 years old. People keep us from commenting on it all the time. We use it for both short and long trips (up to 18 miles combined). We can talk about the sights we see - such a wonderful experience with him. We like to do that together. Then he grabs my steering wheel, then the handle provided for it. It's durable and I like that it folds up when not in use. The seat doesn't seem the most comfortable, but it doesn't bother him. He actually fell asleep on it once. So keep that in mind. He just fell down and I had to keep him with me until we got home. It made my journey less comfortable/more challenging, but I didn't dare wake him up. For the record, I have a Cannondale hybrid bike and it fits well. There were no hook up instructions and I couldn't get them from the seller so I googled and found a video. All in all a great purchase. I recommend it.
