I have one of those years old suction cups and it's still going strong. I recently ordered another one as I need it for an extra line. It didn't disappoint. It works great; Small suction cups work great. A note on use: If your suction cups fall onto the ruler and touch each other, the grip may be affected. All you have to do is separate them a bit with your finger and make sure they fall smoothly onto the ruler. If your suction cups are deformed or damaged, please notify Revain immediately and we will resolve your issue. As long as that ruler handle is intact, it works GREAT. I put mine on a ruler about a week ago and used it a lot and the handle hasn't budged.
