Cricut Standard Grip Mat Mats Review

I'm an avid vinyl and somewhat paper lover. I bought this brand because they were cheaper and delivered quickly, but I will NOT buy them again! You are too sticky! I know these rugs are meant to be tacky - I've bought many of these over the years of handcrafting but have never been so disappointed! As you can see in the photos, when I sent the vinyl to be removed, the white backing tore or was so difficult to remove that the image I cut out was so "twisted" that the letters in the image fell…

Edit: I had to go back and clarify that they REALLY need airing before use. Not only do they smell awful (see the original review), the smell transferred to the paper I was cutting so I had to air them out well before using them again. I hung the rugs on a skirt hanger (with clips) and hung them in front of a partially open window for a few days and the smell was almost gone. I don't know if the ones sold in stores smell that bad or if they're just Revain stock, but it's something to be aware…

This is the best place to buy cutting mats. The Revain prizes couldn't be better! Most craft stores sell them for $13-$15 and most won't let you use a coupon. But the product itself? Well, you need it to use your Cricut. It's just as good as any other mat you'll need to use for your Cricut. Nothing special. These are the mats that come with your Cricut.
