Expands 2 outlets to 6 plus 2 USB, for a total of 8 outlets! All this in a compact device with surge protection and those outlets are well placed! Shelf above is a bonus option. It comes with a screw to attach the base extender to the center of the base, but the type of base I have doesn't have a center hole to attach the screw, but even without the screw the base stays on the base well. , and if needed I can always use double-sided tape to tighten the hold, as suggested by a Kindle user.
