Biggest waste of time and money!

I would give zero stars but that wasn't an option. Let me just say I knew using this product would be short lived. I never thought I would use it for less than two weeks. I noticed from the start that almost no attention was paid to the design and instructions. Some pieces fit in multiple places with no apparent space for each piece. Yes, there are illustrated instructions, but simply putting the pictures on a glossy color booklet without helpful instructions will do no good. Once I figured out how to set up the filter, things got really interesting. There's an awful high that drove me crazy along with lazy jerks. I found myself changing the position of the suction cups due to the constant sliding. They didn't stay in place, probably due to vibration. In the end I put a stone of the right size under the filter to keep it in place. I planned to only use the filter in my zebrafish and amano quarantine tank until the main tank was up and running. There is no such happiness. I ended up using a small air pump and air stone along with a small sponge filter. The neat-looking waterfall feature, which was supposed to create that much-needed surface swell, stopped working almost immediately. In general, not much to expect and not much to get from this product. I wanted to return it but didn't want to worry about drying and repackaging it. EMPTOR WARNING!
