Review on πŸ”† IJDMTOY Universal LED Daytime Running Light Controller: Effortless ON/OFF Automation by Agustin Bush

Great DRL controller!

I bought a set of daytime running lights from Philips in 2012. After a little over two years, the controller stopped working. I was hoping to find a replacement without having to buy a whole set of DRLs. I'm so glad I chose iJDMJOY universal controller. First, it has more features than the Philips controller. Also, it connects directly to Philips lamps (the electrical contacts need to be bent, but the connection is strong), so installation is very easy if you already have a Philips DRL system. I especially like that this controller dims the DRL when you turn on the headlights. The Philips controller disables them completely. The iJDMJOY controller also keeps the DRLs on for 15 seconds after the car is turned off. On my Honda CR-V, the DRLs light up for 15 seconds when I lock or unlock the car with the remote. It bothered me a little at first, but it's nice to have extra lighting when looking for a car in a crowded parking lot. This controller can be connected to turn off the DRL on one side when the turn signal on that side is on. My DRLs are far enough away from the turn signals that I haven't bothered to wire them that way, but it's good to know that this feature is available when you need it. I've had the controller for almost two months now and I'm still very happy with my purchase. I might buy another one to control other lights. If you want to add daytime running lights to your car, I think you will be very pleased if you choose this device to control it.
