Works very well. I'm still trying to figure out how to use a curling iron well, but it's fun. This heats up quickly and stays very close to the 400 degree mark according to our heat gun. It rolls up quickly and is ultimately quite easy to use. My biggest complaint is that the barrel is pretty short. This makes it more difficult to use on long hair and lengthens the process as you have to use smaller strands of hair. It might end up being worse, but if you have long/thick hair I highly recommend looking for something an inch or two longer. If you have thin or short hair this is great. The shorter length makes handling easier if you're struggling with agility, but it's a compromise you'll have to make up your mind. All in all 4 stars.
