We use a mat in front of our caravan when we camp. This keeps dirt and debris from getting into the trailer, not to mention giving the dog a place to lie that isn't in the mud. It's light enough to shake out before putting it away. This rug is well made and the carrying case feels nice although it's quite thin and probably won't last long. I've paid twice as much for rugs that aren't as well made or as big. The bonus is that it matches the colors of our trailer.
