I've always had trouble with gel nail polish not sticking to me. I have fairly oily nails that are not ideal for gel polish, even if all necessary steps have been taken to prevent chipping. Gel polish usually starts peeling off within a week but my nail artist had them and I'm not exaggerating when I say they stay on me for WEEKS. I got my nails done about a week before giving birth and it took me 5 weeks to finally get them done myself because my nails had grown so much. The trick is to apply very thin layers and DO NOT wipe with alcohol before applying. Just dust and wipe off nails, apply and bake! You really are amazing.
