*edit* (second review) So I had to come back here to update my review. After all, honesty helps make better decisions. First of all, this chain was definitely worth the price and I definitely got a lot more out of it than I expected. I am not an avid rider. I ride enduro, downhill and a few local hotspots almost weekly. I've ridden countless miles since buying this chain and have ridden this thing in the dirt more times than I can remember. Eventually it failed. One of the teeth was bent and broken off. Luckily I was able to bend it and keep riding it all day, but I ended up taking it off and installing one of my old tried and true sprockets. Right now I'm taking AbsoluteBlack. I'm sure to put an oval star but I'll use quality for now. The last thing anyone wants is to get stuck in the middle of the runway after landing on a 24-foot gap with a broken, bent tooth on their CR. Not to mention that it's dangerous every time something breaks on your mountain bike while riding big jumps or steep descents. If JGBike can improve their chain building process and lower their prices, I will be back. However, for the average rider, I still support this product. If you don't tear up your MTB on climbs or descents, this CR should be fine. For me it took much longer than expected to be less than $20 CR. But now it's time to switch to AbosluteBlack. (First Review) For the price, this gear is amazing. I've been riding non-stop since installing this on my Trek. I got rid of my triple and went for a single as I didn't want to spend a lot of money to see if I liked a single oval gear setup. So I decided to grab this from JGbike to test out the oval. If I liked it I'd go with the Absolute Black, but considering how this gear handles the terrain and slopestyle parks I ride I think I'll give it a go and see how far It's going ok. As long as it deters the penalty. As for the oval, I feel a slight increase in strength on the climb.
